How To Avoid Community Crime - Is Your Bank Account Safe? Check Your Cell Phone!
Today I will tell you the second story that I received in my email and felt it should be shared with everyone. I feel it is important to share these two stories (read the first in “How To Avoid Community Crime-Is Your Home Safe? Check Your GPS!”) because most of us are so busy that we sometimes miss key elements that may affect our safety. But, hopefully, during your time of searching, you found these articles on community crime and they will help you change your thought process of how you store personal information into your cell phone, GPS, Ipod, etc.
Today, most women carry handbags which contained a cell phone, credit cards, wallets, etc. Unfortunately, for this one particular lady, her handbag was stolen. Twenty minutes later, she phoned her husband from a pay phone telling him what had happened. Her husband responded by saying “I received your text asking about our pin number and I’ve replied a little while ago.”
They rushed to the bank and the bank staff told them that all the money was already withdraw. How terrifying it must be to find out that most of your savings had been stolen.
The thief had used the stolen cell phone to text “hubby” in the contact list and obtained the pin number. Within twenty minutes he had withdrawn all the money from their bank account.
Therefore, the moral of this story is do not disclose the relationship between you and the people in your contact list. Avoid using names like home, honey, hubby, sweetheart, Mom, Dad, etc. And most importantly, when sensitive information is being requested through a text, confirm the information by phoning back the individual requesting it.
Another important point to stress is, when your friends or family text you to meet them somewhere, be sure to phone them back to confirm that the message came from them. If you do not reach them, do not go or be extremely careful about going places to meet family and friends who text you.
It is extremely difficult to protect ourselves and families from every situation that can occurred, but we absolutely can take action to maximize our family’s safety. You can utilize Net Detective to find the truth about anyone (Friends, Family, Teachers, Coaches, etc.). This is 100% legal and most importantly, you have the right to find out about anyone at anytime that has contact with you or your family. You have the right to be aware and safe.
Or sign up with National Alert Registry to find sexual predators within your neighborhood. Check it out with a free search.
I hope these articles have enlightened you to be more aware of how you store your personal information within today’s modern technologies. Until we blog again, keep safe.

How To Avoid Community Crime - Is Your Home Safe? Check Your GPS!
This article is:
A few days ago I received an email which in short shows how the convenience of modern technology may lead to community crime. We all have extremely busy lives and get caught up in the everyday rat race. We get caught up in having the newest and greatest technology gadgets, such as Global Positioning Systems (GPS), cell phones, Ipods, etc. But, once in a while, we all need to slow down and take a look at the world we are living in and the modern conveniences provided to us. We need to ensure that we are doing our best to protect our family and our love ones. Let me summarize one of the stories I received in the email. (I will write about the second story in the next blog.)
It is the time of year, when school starts up along with the fall/winter sports. This particular sport was football. While people were enjoying the game, someone had stolen a garage door remote control, money and a GPS, which was mounted on the dashboard, from a car parked on the green, just adjacent to the football stadium.
When the victims arrived home, they found their house had been ransacked and just about everything of value had been stolen.
The thieves used the GPS to guide them to the victim’s house. Upon arrival at the house, they used the garage remote control to open the garage door and gain entry to the house. The thieves knew the amount of time they had to rob the house blind for they knew the time the football game would end. It appears the thieves had obtained a truck to empty the victims’ house of its value possessions.
Therefore, consider how you make your entries into your GPS. Don’t put your home address in it. Consider entering into your GPS a nearby address (like a store, gas station, park, nearby attraction) so you can still find your way home if need be, but no one else will know where you live if your GPS should be stolen. Image how funny it would be to see the thieves’ faces when they arrive at a park, gas station, etc. LOL!
However, let’s look at the gloomy side of this story. Perhaps, you have a teenager who was home at the time the thieves arrived. Your child’s safety, mental and physical well-being has just been vandalized. I won’t even attempt to write the mental images of what could be for it is too disturbing.
While no one can protect their families from all the evil people or events that occur in this world, we all could take action to maximize our family’s safety. Consider this, how well do you really know your neighbors, your friends, relatives, your children’s coaches or teachers. Or does someone just make you feel uncomfortable. Do they have a past criminal record or are they listed on a sex offender registry?
Be assured that it is 100% legal to attain background checks and public records information. You have the right to find out about anyone at anytime. Finding the right service to perform this type of search is the real issue, until now.
You can utilize Net Detective to find the truth about anyone. You are allowed unlimited searches utilizing a huge database to complete background checks, check for criminal records, identity fraud or financial problems.
Or sign up with National Alert Registry to find sexual predators within your neighborhood. Keep your child or children safe. Find out with a free search.
So, the moral of this story is: Avoid using names like home, hubby, honey, husband, wife, sweetheart, Dad, Mom, etc. within the modern technologies of today’s world, such as a GPS, cell phone, Ipod, etc. Maximize your safety and your family’s safety by checking out Net Detective and/or National Alert Registry. Be Smarter than the Thieves! Catch them first, not second!

Everlasting Love Affair
Today is my parent’s anniversary. They have been married 53 years. WOW!! What an awesome achievement. My mom was 17 and my dad was 23 when they married. They have a great marriage. Was it always perfect? Of course not, for no one is perfect and therefore, your relationship can not be perfect. How is it not perfect? Well, like any two people who decide to cohabit together, there will be arguments. Now, none of these arguments ever lead to divorce, nor was it an everyday event. It was more like, a couple times a year. So, you see, it can’t be perfect. The perfect relationship does not exist. But it could be awesome. They have mutual respect for each other, they understand each other’s moods, know when to let something go, when not to let something go, when to console and most of all, they love each other beyond a shadow of a doubt.
So, don’t ever give up on finding that everlasting love affair.
Luckily, neither of my parents had a secret past. But not everyone can be lucky as they were and are today. Hopefully you have learned the secrets of your partner, your future spouse. However, how dramatic would it be for you to find out after your marriage, that your significant other has been hiding financial problems, had children from a prior relationship, spent time in jail, and countless of other secrets. Personally, this would be devastating and possibly a deal breaker. Why a deal breaker? The trust would be gone and without trust, the relationship is broken. I would always wonder what else I don’t know. Are there other secrets being hidden from me? And on and on the list goes.
But don’t fret; there is a way to find answers about a person’s past without getting caught. For example, Net Detective, a web detective program, is an online database that allows you to search available public records to unveil any possible secrets.
I know it sounds as if you are invading someone’s personal life. You feel as if you are probing. But you are not. You are protecting yourself, your family and your future.
Imagine the possibilities that this type of tool, Net Detective, can provide you. It is countless.
So, if you ever wanted to know more about your neighbors, your child’s teachers, your old high school love, old friends or family members, Net Detective will provide you the tools to find the answers. It is entirely your choice how you choose to proceed from this day forward. Who knows, maybe you will find yourself reunited with an old love flame or locate a missing relative. The possibilities are countless.

- You can stay informed about your children’s teachers, principals, etc.

- Find long lost friends from elementary, junior high school, high school, college or military.

Protect Your Children
Don't let them go to Parties or Sleepovers until You Know Who They will be Spending Time With
One of the most important aspects of raising children is to ensure they are well socialized. This process usually begins early in life and is one of the main driving forces for parents to enroll their children in preschool. Play dates are also a big part of the early socialization process.
As they grow older, children forge bonds with other children from school, church, and sports. Part of the social learning process is for them to take part in parties, sleepovers, and other group activities.
How can you keep your child in a safe environment?
Every parent wants their child to grow up happy and healthy, and to have the companionship of friends. As they develop an increasing amount of independence, their need to have mom or dad close at hand diminishes. As difficult as this is, it is a necessary part of growing up.
However, it is important as a parent to ensure we know as much as possible about our children, especially when they are out of sight - how they are spending that time, and with whom they are spending it. This period of early social activity occurs during some of the most impressionable years of children's lives, and we want to ensure they have nothing but nurturing experiences. We want all of their childhood memories to be good ones, which evoke memories of safety and security.
Be a smart parent - know exactly what type of people surround your child
Before letting your child out of your sight for a slumber party, team pizza party, or any other type of gathering, make sure you know everything you can about the people with whom your child will be socializing.
A simple, computer-generated background check can tell you right away if it is safe for your child to attend the function, or if it would be wiser to keep him at home. For example, Net Detective, an online background check service, makes it easy for you to delve into the personal history of the parent or parents who will be watching your child.
In a very short period of time, you can find out a great deal about virtually anyone's criminal and financial history. Learn whether there are any civil actions pending against the parent, or learn of the existence of any restraining orders. Find out if the family has a violent history, or a peaceful one.
The main idea is to review the private life of anyone who will be responsible for your child's care, and ensure the person is qualified for the task. After all, you would not want to unwittingly place the care of your child into the hands of a hardened criminal.

HOW TO INVESTIGATE ANYONE AT ANYTIME
"There's no place like a home." While this phrase was coined years ago, it holds true to most individuals. A personal residence is your rest haven, your place of peace, your kingdom. Every now and then, we lower our defensive shield, and put away that protective armor to allow someone into our home. That happens when the plumber needs to take a look at those clogged pipes, or the communications technician may need to check the phone lines from inside the home. To install that great plasma TV, the cable man or satellite installer will certainly need to step inside and make sure the reception box is functioning properly. All these requirements and luxuries of life call for you to give trust to a complete stranger, the same trust you would never put in just anyone walking the streets.
We will now view the situation from a worst case scenario. Let's say the plumber gave you the uncomfortable eye during a repair. Perhaps the communication technician's conduct was not appropriate in your eyes, as he moseyed around your hallways looking for the "bathroom." Maybe the satellite installer violated company policy by offering you a discounted service that would benefit only them. Many businesses often conduct an employee check, but sometimes they do not. When eerie individuals cross your path, you may choose to take a different plan of action. Being able to find out anything about anyone would certainly ease the worry of allowing strangers into your home.
One may have some legitimate concerns about accessing records and conducting their own background check. Some may think this cannot be done because of all the required forms and possible penalties. Be assured that it is 100% legal to attain background checks and public records information. You have the right to find out about anyone at anytime. Finding the right service to perform this type of search is the real issue.
TRUTHS ABOUT RECORD CHECKS
When performing your search, be aware that no database will allow you to instantly access ALL criminal records. This function is strictly limited to the FBI. These records are mainly off limits, with the exception of federally insured banks, nuclear power plants, and various branches of the government. Many services may claim to have access to these extensive databases, but that is a topic certainly worth arguing.
Many services advertise that they are capable of accessing criminal records anytime from everywhere; some claim anytime, anywhere and anyone. Choosing a company that advertises the capability to find out anything about anyone at anytime is one you would prefer.
Several services freely use the word "nationwide" for promotion. In actuality, with the exception of a few companies, these searches are typically limited in capability and falsely advertising. There are a few companies that have contracts with government departments to provide the background check information to the general public.
You can also conduct your own people search investigation to find out about anyone. Search engines are a powerful tool that scans all web pages for relevant information linked to a person's name. With a bit of time and diligent research, you can uncover the background information and find out about anyone.
There is simply one thing you can not get enough of these days: safety. Though it is very common to allow a stranger inside of your home to make a service call, you have the right to remain weary. Never feel guilty about conducting your own private search on anyone. Public records are available for you to access at anytime. Make the most these rights and use them whenever you feel the need to protect yourself.

Find Someone For Free?
This article is:
Find someone for free? Is this really possible? Well, you are about to be surprised.
Yes, it is possible. You can now search for someone free utilizing the same databases as the multi-million dollar people finder companies, but without spending a penny. That's right folks, it won't cost you any money. You will be provided complete addresses and phone numbers for free and if available, a photo of the individual. You may be able to find someone's email address and/or find someone's phone number and immediately reach out.
So, what is the catch. There is none. To register for FREE, you just provide your name and email address and the search results will be unlocked. It truly is a free people search and free people search results.
Please beware what free people search engine you utilize. All companies advertise, "Free People Searches", but in order to get the results, you will need to shell out anywhere from $0.95 to $19.95, depending on your search results needs. I know, I know! This is not alot of money to dish out, but if I can get much better results for free and have a future benefit, isn't it the better bargain. For example, I did a people search of my own name with one of the multi-million dollar companies and it returned 3 search results. In order to obtain the results of the correct individual (me), I would have to paid $0.95. Or if I preferred, I could had paid $14.95 to have unlimited people search and results for the next 24 hours. Oh yeah, baby, 24 hours! But, with Mula People Finder, it returned 9 results and 1 (one) unique result. In order to obtain those results, I only had to enter my name and email address to have unlimited free people searches and free people results for life. Now, that is a bargain, wouldn't you agree!
